RTP Goals
The proposed platform goals are the following:
- The study of the research results in Greece and internationally relevant to the platform axes.
- The provision of consulting services first of all to the RWG and of its institutions and foundations as well as of the entrepreneurial world.
- The participation in the creation of national and European measures and initiatives related to the platform axes, as well as participation in the relevant European consultations.
- The provision of aid, upon request, to the requirement analysis of systems relevant to the platform axes. In this framework, the Technological Platform will operate as an expert that can provide consultancy both to the Region, public bodies and other institutions regarding technical issues relevant to its technological axes
- The contribution to the evaluation of the different emerging or commercial standards that are related to the plat-form axes.
- The contribution to the coordination of knowledge institutions, that are active in the technological areas of the platform axes at a regional, national and European level
- The contribution to the creation of the needed policy at a Regional level regarding the platform axes
- The collaboration with all interested parties regarding the platform axes and the provision of an easy admission to the platform
- The testing and evaluation of the technological solutions and products that are related to the platform axes
- The provision of education and training to interested institutions regarding the aforementioned subjects
- The formation of a network of institutions, both academic and entrepreneurial, regarding the platform techno-logical areas.
- The formation of wider networks with European networks of excellence regarding the platform technological areas
- The wider possible dissemination of expertise related to the platform axes towards the RWG enterprises and aiming at the application of innovative solutions
- The creation of a portal providing information related to the platform aspects
