RTP contribution to the RIP-WG
The proposed technological platform is of an intense development nature, since it aspires to disseminate the existing expertise of the research and academic institutions of the RWG that is related to the platform axes technologies towards the productive enterprises as well as all interested bodies, and increase the general level of innovation in the Region. The increase in competitiveness that is possible to achieve in this way, can lead to a subsequent in-crease in entrepreneurship and employment in the Region, creating an accumulative effect for the regional and national economy.Thus, the proposed platform contributes significantly in the RIP strategy since
- it is relevant to technologies with a high degree of innovation
- it addresses the entrepreneurial world of the Region, with informative, consulting and training actions, aiming at the increase of their degree of innovation and competitiveness
- it intends to contribute to the networking of academic / research and entrepreneurial institutions of the Region as well as European Networks of Excellence regarding technologies that are related to the platform axes
- it may provide the technological background for the creation of clusters and inter-enterprise collaborations that are promoted in the framework of the Pole
- it will address the need for the formulation of regional, national and European measures and initiatives aiming at the technologies of priority to the Pole
